  • In April 2019 we presented Jake (Modest Medusa) Richmond’s all-ages RPG The Magical Land of Yeld. Now Jake is Kickstarting Mermaid Hunters, an introductory Yeld set with everything you need to start your adventures. In Mermaid Hunters you and your friends create child characters and discover a secret door leading to the land of Yeld. Explore the strange new world, discover treasure, and help the people of Lake Town fight off a wicked Mermaid Gang.
  • Caias Ward at TaleSpinner Holdings designed Trigger Happy in our October 2015 Indie Treasure Trove 3 and Riders: A Game About Cheating Doomsday in our October 2015 Indie Trove 4. Now Caias is Kickstarting Retired, a two-player storygame about the ordinary life of a former supervillain. “One player is the Retiree and the other is The Narrator of a world dead-set on annoying a former supervillain trying to enjoy a return to regular life. From nosy neighbors and chores around the house that get out of hand, to former rivals and alien invasions, your retirement isn’t going to be just puttering around the garden.”
  • Sanguine Productions (Ironclaw, February 2019) is funding a new edition of its licensed Usagi Yojimbo RPG based on Stan Sakai’s long-running anthropomorphic comic of Miyamoto Usagi, a swordsrabbit in 17th-Century Japan. Originally published in 2005 for the Interlock system, this Second Edition Usagi Yojimbo RPG is Powered by the Apocalypse.
  • Graham Bottley of Arion Games contributed the Advanced Fighting Fantasy Bundle in March 2017 and its More Fighting Fantasy companion this past June. Graham is raising funds for Crown & Dragon, a licensed Savage Worlds Adventure Edition flintlock fantasy based on the novel For the Crown and the Dragon by Stephen Hunt. “The year is 1797, and regiments of soldiers fight with muskets and bayonets as well as culverins and cavalry. Arcane magic is wielded by Weirdsmen and Mummers; an enchanted forest known as the Tumble cloaks much of the land; and strange creatures pose a threat to the great warships and merchantmen that ply the seas.”
  • Golden Goblin Press (which contributed its licensed Call of Cthulhu scenarios to several past Bundles of Tentacles) is funding The Lovecraft Country Holiday Collection with 1920s 7th edition Call of Cthulhu scenarios and a six-story fiction companion, both with adolescent protagonists. “Kids growing up in Lovecraft country have unique childhoods. One set of six cousins growing up in Arkham, Kingsport, Innsmouth, and Dunwich know shadows hide a darker evil, ghosts haunt lonely fields, monsters lurk beyond the walls of sleep, and their hometowns aren’t like other places. They also know that whatever happens, they can face it together and do what it takes to set things right. They’re sure the light of friendship and family can cast away any shadows. But what do kids know…”
  • We presented the original d20-era Scarred Lands line in June 2014. In 2014 Onyx Path Publishing reworked the setting for 5E and Pathfinder, and now they’re Kickstarting a new full-color 5E version of the book that started the Scarred Lands line in 2000, the Creature Collection. The Scarred Lands is a place of dynamic heroism, supreme villainy, and incalculable magic. Torn and twisted by battles between the titans and their children, the young gods — fought largely by monstrous titanspawn pitted against humans, elves, dwarves, and other divine races — Scarn is a world still wounded deeply by the Divine War that took place less than two centuries ago. Already funded, this edition of the Creature Collection stands at 160 pages with almost a month left in the campaign.
