Currently £19.97/$24.50 on DriveThru; normal price £21 on Osprey, and you have to buy it separately from print (normally £25).
Hm, that's nudging me to buy it now as the only chance of a sensible pricing deal. Though I just found the character sheet and it's whispering 'heartbreaker'...
Paleomythic is the one that calls to me.. and any.. are heartbreakers so bad?

The May Monthly deals are up on Amazon.co.uk; however, prices don't seem to reflect yesterday's announcement that HMG has cancelled VAT on ebooks as of today instead of the original date of 1st December. From discussions elsewhere, it seems Amazon was caught by surprise on this, so it may be worth holding off on purchases until next week or later to see if prices drop further.

Have you read it? It looked somewhat long and there were comments on editing being needed. Would your recommend?
I liked it. It is long, but I don't think it over stays its welcome. Possibly suffers in comparison to having a similar structure to Cloud Atlas, but they are quite different stories. If you've read Slade House you'll find a fair bit that's familiar.

Update on Amazon prices:
  • Discounted ebooks will still be 99p/£1.99. Only books not on sale/offer will be cheaper.
  • Only ebooks where the price is set by Amazon will have the VAT element removed
  • The line about VAT has been removed from ebooks
Somebody is profiteering I guess... So may as well get the discounts as they pop up and don't bother with non-Amazon works until the major publishers pull their finger out (or get sued but I'm not holding my breath). What it looks like to me is a cynical attempt by the publishers to align the ebook price with the paper price.

Given that HMG did it on a whim and gave no one time to prepare, I'm not surprised!
