@James Mullen from the interview it seemed like they started with the idea for a role-playing game but got dragged back to their board game roots.
maybe I need to open my mind to the idea because the board game element would give a rhythm and a pattern that perhaps I would appreciate.
I'm just not terribly interested in running a restaurant.

Mmm... Crispy shredded duck and hoisin sauce... I don't get to eat it (or pheasant or quail or other birds) very often - Paul is a birder. He prefers them strutting around on the lawn (my comment - you can gawp at birds dressed in feathers as long as their natural habitat is not the Folies Bergère or the Moulin Rouge).

I am always supporting the 2d20 line from Modiphius on Kickstarter and, today, received my complete pledge, that included these beautiful adventure cards for Robert E. Howard's Conan.

So to me, now that I have all the products I ordered, I consider this to be my my best role playing games investment.
And the RPG that I play most often and also run most often at conventions. :D

Obviously, I extend my commiserations to those who helped finance the big pledges but are still waiting for their books, four years now.

I wish I had the cards.

I've one really long term Kickstarter still brewing in the background (Delta Green) which is great because every now and again I get a delivery of some more nihilistic darkness to fight against. I'm not actually bothered about the delivery date because they are very clear with their communications. Some other kickstarters could learn from this (I'm looking at you Cartel) and some have actually turned themselves around in my head (City of Mist, Operation Unfathomable as they have started to focus on sharing progress and updates rather than silence).

Actually, if I'm honest I have two Delta Green kickstarters but the same applies for both.
