[generic] What are you backing?

Yes, I was surprised that the Mars sourcebook was not done in the first Kickstarter. Here is hoping this second Space 1889 Kickstarter also unlocks the Luna sourcebook to add to the new Mars one and the existing Venus and Mercury ones. Hence, I have pledged my money to this project by Clockwork Publishing (Uhrwerk Verlag).

I've backed very little for months and then two come at once, so I've backed Over the Edge and Delta Green: The Labyrinth.

With Over the Edge that's all of my old favourite RPGs kickstarted. Just a shame that even with new versions I still haven't played or ran any of them.

Luna isn't presently part of the stretch goals. I think that they are trying to be sensible and reduced the risk.

This, sort of, should now be in the splurged thread, as The Sword The Crown & The Unspeakable Power has arrived thanks to Mr Ellis. This is a grubby, probably PvP game of social political intrigue as characters try to leverage themselves into the best position to get what they want. Behind the scenes there is a mythical power which is known and can be called on by some for aid.

The game looks very well put together and great to have such a different focus to the typical questing adventures of yore. I'm pushing the boat out with this one as it's not very me. Their advice on PvP is good though, and I really hope that someone helps me with it, especially at Revelation.

I simply had to back the new edition of Reign. I've had terrific fun running it, even including my first....troubled....convention GMing experience. It was one of the two games which shook me out of a disillusioned rut with fantasy gaming (the other, one, for the record, was OpenQuest). It's a system with lots of clever bits, built on a solid base, and a super interesting setting. My Reign campaign, back in (gulp) 2009 was one of my greats.

And who knows...maybe the Kickstarter will eventually lead to my Reign setting, Ninth Legion, finally emerging. When I have the books, Reign is certainly something I'll return to.

I scraped in at the last minute for a Kickstarter for a set of extra large dice with easy to read numbers as my other set of big dice is losing resolution again - should have gone to Specsavers it would have been cheaper

Backed The Labyrinth at PDF level on day of launch. Will probably back The Expanse one similarly just to get the background stuff, as I’m not overly bothered by AGE and would probably run it using Traveller (though there’s an almost non existent chance of that ever happening).

And the graphic novel interpretation of Robert A. Heinlein's original "Have Space Suit Will Travel" finally goes to the printers. Yes, after years in Kickstarter limbo, for this delay, we are getting the hardcover edition. So this is good news.

Well since old-school is trending these days and since I never did play The Fantasy Trip created by Steve Jackson, now is a good time to collect this classic of days gone by.
I've still got the originals around somewhere. Don't think I ever managed to get the 'Advanced' books, so might be worth it for those. But only the pdf unless they do something about the horrendous shipping

Wow! You purchased yours like when they got published back in the day, right? If so, much respect from us newbies. :)

Yup, I had Advanced Fantasy Trip way back when..
There are some *very* good solos for TFT..

But I won't get it, the nice boxed set is $60, fine, but the shipping is $30, and $90 is pushing it.

Anyway, I would have preferred to get the GURPS Dungeon Fantasy boxed set at Continuum that Mike Cule beat me to..

TFT is, after all, the trial run for GURPS..
I missed calculating the shipping costs on this one. I may have to drop my pledge to just the new card packs then. :-(
