[none] What games/books are you eagerly awaiting?

I'm waiting for The Princess Bride RPG to arrive. And waiting. And waiting. Almost as long as I've been waiting for Cortex Prime (not particularly imminent) and Noir World (err, I dunno).

And anytime now I should be getting my copy of Good Society (from the expansion book Kickstarter).

I'm hopeful I'll see Mandate Of Heaven soonish too...

Same here. The PDF is fine (although I think they need to optimise it better as it could be smoother) but it'll be great to have the hardback at last. Same with Mercenaries, Spies & Private Eyes.

The only book I'm looking forward to that I've not already paid for is Threefold from Green Ronin, their dimension-hopping setting for Modern Age. The Free RPG Day teaser for it was quite good and is also available as a free PDF.

I'm waiting for a gaming-related book, with the next Order of the Stick volume, Utterly Dwarfed, being announced for later this year: I can almost taste that finish line now, only 2 or 3 more years and one more compilation before the story concludes.

To avoid the Pathfinder 2e trap, I purchased both special editions of the core book and bestiary. So because , "Lost Omens: World Guide" is the standard cover, I have an excuse to skip it. ;-)

With regards to some space horror, obviously, I await Alien, because Fria Ligan's d6 engine is the best.

And the Grimmerspace for Starfinder, sadly, forces a wait till next year, unlike the fast production time of Alien.

Cubicle7 are really hitting their collection out of the ball park. The One Ring Special Edition looks oh, so tempting.

But, since, I am already awaiting their Warhammer Fantasy The Enemy Within and the revised Warhammer 40K, those are good enough excuses to avoid more Cubicle7 splurges. Ha ha ha!

Clearly, I'm waiting for Alien...

And my dose of Nordic Noir...

And the rest of the Delta Green Kickstarter (and the subsequent DG: Labyrinth book)

And finally a trip to the Odious Uplands... the stretch goal from Operation Unfathomable.

I still want Cartel, after the fantastic game I played of it at Revelation, but it is reaching the 'so long ago I'm starting to lose interest' phase...

Also want Blue Planet: Recontact (third edition) when that is ready to roll.

Struggling to get enthused by City of Mist, for which I'm waiting for the campaign book and companion volume. I backed this big style, so will try and get it to the table. The books are all significantly late and the original book was so different in style to what the kickstarter showed (in the sense that it was old style telephone directory sized with poor layout, and the weight was a manual handling issue).

I'm struggling to get excited by TOR 2nd edition as I love the first so much. The collector's book looks great but I suspect it will be painfully expensive. I loved the original art as well. Perhaps my love affair with the game will end when @dr_mitch finishes our campaign?

I've lost interest in the The Book of Contemporary Magical Places from Stygian Fox (so late, and maybe... maybe it will be usable with Liminal to redeem it). Shame really.

Kickstarter highlights of RPG things I'm waiting for and excited about:

Bite Me!
Lex Arcana
Reign 2e
Yellow King RPG
Mandate of Heaven for Monkey

Other things that excite me:
Blue Planet 3e (after @Dom 's game at North Star)
Moria for the One Ring, and other possible supplements (Gondor, surely)

Will Reign 2e be significantly different?

There's also this, which I backed on Kickstarter:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/shewstonepublishing/magonomia-the-rpg-of-renaissance-wizardry

Fate. Renaissance wizards. Several of the people involved in Ars Magica, which makes me think of excellent writing about history and skill at designing magic systems.

Alas, it will potentially not fund.
It's a bit too expensive for me, frankly, plus postage, especially with the Brexit Sterling collapse. Shame, sounds good.

Have you told Andy S?
