As someone who refuses to join FB, it’s an excellent idea. Please do copy announcements here and have a discussion. Feel free to post the spreadsheet I use to create printed price stickers and a sheet for the bring & buy (which is about the only reason to keep my copy of MS Office 2011 running once I upgrade to Catalina).
As another person who has deleted his short-lived Facebook account with extreme rationality... I am not going to be polite about any convention that makes its communications dependent on that racket. And I've got a logon here, so sure, use the Tavern. Though using e-mail would surely be more reliable, if you need to tell members something important?

When will registration be opening for Continuum 2020? I ask, because I am planning to be away over the Christmas/New Year period and don't want to miss Registration just because I am stuck without a PC.
Yes certainly post here as well as FB. If you’re happy with the numbers and the “usual crew” that’ll be fine. If you WANT to attract newbies you could do with a hyperactive tweeter on board. That’s where a lot of the new cons - and rivals to the old cons - are getting their trade. (Looking at you BurritoCon.)
